As we celebrate  International Women's Day , my friends and I find ourselves reflecting on the incredible journey we have taken, a journey that wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support and courage of our mothers. Growing up in India during a time when engineering for girls was a rarity, we faced numerous challenges, one of the most bizarre being the absence of ladies' toilets in our mechanical block. Yet, despite these obstacles, the four of us pursued our dreams and became engineers.πŸŽ‰  Looking back, we realize that our success and achievements, which seemed almost taboo at the time, are a testament to the strength and determination of our mothers. These incredible women, despite being housewives, shattered glass ceilings and fought against societal norms to ensure we had the opportunities they never did.
