February holds a special place in my heart, not just because it’s the month of love and warmth, but also because it marks my birthday and another milestone in my life’s journey. As we bring you the fourth edition of our newsletter, I find myself reflecting on the path I have walked over these 48 years—a journey filled with countless roles, challenges, and joys.
From being a responsible daughter to becoming a devoted wife and the proud mother of a handsome son, life has been a beautiful tapestry woven with love, care, and commitment. For the past 25 years, I have also had the privilege of being a teacher, a mentor, a role that has brought immense satisfaction and purpose to my life. Balancing personal and professional responsibilities has not always been easy, but I’ve embraced each moment with passion, dedication, and an unwavering resolve to give my best in every sphere of life.
Among the greatest blessings of my life are my friendships. Aman, Sujata, Rupinder, and I first crossed paths during our college days, though Sujata has been my friend since childhood. Together, we have shared laughter, dreams, and countless memories that have stood the test of time. It is a bond that continues to thrive, and it brings me great joy to share that we four friends embarked on this newsletter journey together. What started as a shared dream has now blossomed into this growing community of readers, and I could not be more grateful.
This journey has taught me that fulfillment comes from wholeheartedly embracing your roles, nurturing your passions, and cherishing the relationships that make life meaningful. As I step into this new year of my life, I carry forward the lessons I’ve learned, the memories I’ve cherished, and the love that fuels my every step.

The Profound Power of "Me Time" 🥳
Promoting Resilience and Self-Empowerment
I want to share a personal insight that's made a big difference in my life: the profound power of "Me Time" and being in the moment.
Years ago, I started practicing Yoga, and it has been a game-changer. It provides me with precious "Me Time" and helps me stay grounded in the present moment. "Me Time" and "being in the moment" might sound a bit odd, but these concepts are incredibly powerful for establishing a deep mind-body connection. It is as simple as breathing.
I hope you all make some time for yourselves—find your "Me Time," stay present, and reconnect with your mind and body.
Understanding "Me Time"
In today's fast-paced world, we are constantly bombarded with information, responsibilities, and distractions. It is all too easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of daily life and neglect our own needs. "Me Time" is the antidote to this relentless pace. It is a deliberate and mindful practice of setting aside time for oneself to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with the inner self.
"Me Time" is not about being selfish or self-indulgent. Rather, it is about recognizing the importance of self-care and prioritizing one's well-being.
The Benefits of “Me Time” are manifold and extend far beyond the immediate sense of relaxation and pleasure. It reduces stress levels and improves mental clarity. This helps to enhance emotional well-being, strengthen relationships and enhance self-awareness.
Practical Tips for Incorporating "Me Time"
Incorporating "Me Time" into our daily lives may seem challenging, especially with busy schedules and numerous commitments. However, with a little planning and intention, it is entirely possible. Here are some practical tips to help you make "Me Time" a regular part of your routine:
🕒 Schedule It: Set aside specific times each day or week for self-care activities and treat them as non-negotiable. By making "Me Time" a priority, you are more likely to follow through and reap its benefits. If you are using Microsoft Outlook, just set up “Focus time” as a calendar placeholder.
⭐ Start Small: You don't need to set aside hours of time to experience the benefits of "Me Time. "Start with small increments, such as 10-15 minutes a day, and gradually increase as you become more comfortable with the practice.
👍 Find What Works for You: "Me Time" is a personal and individualized practice. Experiment with different activities and see what resonates with you. Yoga, gardening and writing are some of my go-to “me time” activities.
📴 Disconnect from Technology: Make a conscious effort to disconnect from screens and devices during your "Me Time." Having no Outlook on your phone will help.
"Me Time" is not just a luxury; it is a necessity for our mental, emotional, and physical well-being. As we embrace "Me Time," we empower ourselves to navigate life's challenges with resilience and grace. So, take a moment for yourself, breathe deeply, and enjoy the transformative power of "Me Time."

The Power of Circadian Rhythm and Intermittent Fasting
Did you know your body has a natural clock that dictates when to eat, sleep, and function at its best? This internal clock, known as the circadian rhythm, is influenced by light, food, and activity. When aligned with this rhythm, your body performs like a well-tuned machine.
The Circadian Rhythm Connection
Your circadian rhythm works in harmony with the sun. During the day, your body is programmed to digest food efficiently and produce energy. At night, it switches to repair and rejuvenation mode. Ignoring this natural cycle by staying up late, eating at odd hours, or spending too much time in artificial light can lead to fatigue and poor digestion.
Intermittent Fasting at a Glance
Intermittent fasting (IF) complements your circadian rhythm by syncing your eating schedule with daylight. The most common method is the 16:8 pattern—you eat within 8 hours and fast for 16 hours.

🚰Stay Hydrated: During fasting, keep drinking water or herbal tea.
⭐Start Small: If 16:8 feels tough, try 12:12 initially.
